The Danish vegetable oils supplier Aarhus United A/S (formerly Aarhus Oliefabrik) issued on Thursday (22 October) preliminary information on its January-September 2004 results.
The company expected an operating income of DKK117m and pre-tax profit of DKK172m for the nine-month period.
In January-September 2003 operating income amounted to DKK82m and pre-tax profit to DKK67m.
For the full-year 2004 Aarhus expected operating income of DKK220-240m and pre-tax profit of DKK210-230m. Full-year revenue was expected to be marginally higher than the DKK4.5bn in 2003.
One Danish krone (DKK) is worth approximately 0.09 British pounds (GBP).
