US ticketing services provider Ticketmaster announced on Wednesday (1 September) that it had acquired the Finnish ticketing services provider Lippupalvelu Oy.
The acquisition followed Ticketmaster's recent expansions into Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
After the acquisition Ticketmaster's European ticketing operations include England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and The Netherlands.
Lippupalvelu Oy was acquired from the Finnish telecomms operator TeliaSonera Finland Oyj, part of the Finnish-Swedish operator TeliaSonera AB, and private investors, reported the online business news service of Yahoo.com.
The acquisition price was not disclosed.
