Finnish-Swedish IT company TietoEnator Corporation said on Monday (27 September) that it had implemented a Millwide Information and Optimization System (MOPS) for the Swedish paper maker Holmen Paper in Madrid, Spain.
The system consists of a comprehensive set of tools to manage manufacturing and quality information in real time, according to the company.
The solution has previously been installed in the Braviken, Wargon and Hallsta mills in Sweden.
TietoEnator said that the implementation in the Madrid plant means that all mills now use the same system, enabling Holmen Paper to achieve benefits through more harmonized business processes.
