The Swedish food group AB Sardus said on Monday (15 August) that its business unit Sardus Chark & Deli had decided to reorganise its production in order to secure synergy gains within the group.
As part of the reorganisation Sardus Chark & Deli plans to relocate the production of ham products from Delikatess Skinkor AB in Hultsfred, Sweden, to Charkdelikatesser Produktion AB in Halmstad. The sausage production in Hultsfred will be transferred to Filos AB in Boras.
The reorganisation will affect 31 jobs in Hultsfred.
Sardus Chark & Deli is also considering the reduction of four jobs at its pastry production facility in Tranas.
