The Swedish-controlled international newspaper publisher Metro International SA said on Monday (12 December) that it has acquired the remaining 9.99% of the Dutch newspaper Metro Holland for an undisclosed sum.
"This acquisition is part of our strategy of opportunistically investing for growth. Metro Holland is one of Metro's fastest growing and most profitable operations and we are very pleased to control 100% of this valuable subsidiary," Pelle Tornberg, CEO of Metro International, said in a comment.
