NORDIC BUSINESS REPORT-15 December 2005-CVC Capital Partners plans sale of Danske Traelast - report(C)1994-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

International investment company CVC Capital Partners is reportedly planning to sell the Danish building products group Danske Traelast during 2006.

A sale in 2006 would be a year earlier than CVC Capital Partners had earlier said, reported the Danish business daily Borsen.

CVC Capital Partners acquired Danske Traelast in 2003 for DKK6.3bn, but the group is now estimated to be worth some DKK10bn.

Danske Traelast is the Nordic region's largest building materials supplier, with some 250 outlets and an annual turnover of DKK17bn.

Borsen named the French group Saint-Gobain as a potential buyer.

One Danish krone (DKK) is worth approximately 0.09 British pounds (GBP).
