Swedish telecomms solutions provider Ericsson said on Friday (16 December) that it had signed a managed services contract with the Swiss telecomms operator, sunrise, to launch Mobile TV services including Video on Demand in Switzerland.
sunrise, part of the TDC group, is also launching the Ericsson Mobile TV Channel Selector, the company added.
By partnering with Ericsson, sunrise would be able to offer TV services, featuring sports, entertainment and news video clips on demand, as well as 24 live local and international channels.
