Finnish-Swedish telecomms operator TeliaSonera AB said on Thursday (24 February) that its Swedish subsidiary TeliaSonera Sweden (Telia) would build a new IP network for the Swedish betting network of ATG.
The new network would be one of the largest data networks in Sweden in terms of the number of connection points, and it would also be prepared for new IP-based functions and services.
The new network solution would reduce ATG's operating costs and provide a new potential source of revenue because of its increased functionality, according to TeliaSonera.
The value of the order was estimated at SEK140m.
One Swedish krona (SEK) is worth approximately 0.08 British pounds (GBP).
