Finnish telecomms group Elisa Corporation said on Tuesday (18 January) that it had signed a letter of intent with the US IT group IBM to concentrate Elisa's application management services to IBM.
Under the agreement, responsibility for administering Elisa's present providers of application management would be assigned to IBM.
At the same time, the 150 employees responsible for the development and maintenance of Elisa's information systems would join IBM, the company said.
The seven-year agreement is scheduled to come into force on 1 March 2005.
