The Swedish food company AB Sardus issued its year-end report on Friday (28 January), posting a pre-tax result of SEK90m, as compared to SEK110m in 2003.
The decline was due to weaker sales and earnings in the Danish unit 3-Stjerner.
The net turnover for 2004 amounted to SEK1,787m, a 2% improvement compared to the previous year.
Sardus is in the process of initiating a reorganisation of its business units which is expected to reduce costs by SEK5-10m per year.
