The Danish vegetable fats and oils company Aarhus United A/S said on Tuesday (12 July) that the Danish holding company United International Enterprises Ltd and the Swedish investor Melker Schorling AB had launched voluntary offers for Aarhus United A/S and the Swedish company Karlshamns AB.

The offers were made through the Swedish company BNS Industrier AB.

The offer to Aarhus United's shareholders is DKK500 per share in cash or 5.27% in the new holding company for the combined business.

The offer to Karlshamns' shareholders is SEK117 per share in cash or one share in the new holding company.

One Danish krone (DKK) is worth approximately 0.09 British pounds (GBP).One Swedish krona (SEK) is worth approximately 0.07 British pounds (GBP).
