The Swedish laser pattern generators provider Micronic Laser Systems AB said on Wednesday (22 June) that it had signed a cooperation agreement with a leading global semiconductor maker.
Micronic Laser Systems will participate in the development of advanced semiconductor applications, and will as part of the agreement supply its partner with a Sigma7300 advanced photomask manufacturing system.
"We expect this project to further position the Sigma7300 as the work-horse for semiconductor advanced mask manufacturing," commented Sven Lofquist, president and CEO of Micronic Laser Systems.
