Pointsec Mobile Technologies wins security technology contract from the US Army

Swedish data security company Protect Data AB said on Tuesday (29 March) that its subsidiary Pointsec Mobile Technologies had won a security technology contract from the US Army.
Under the contract, valued at USD565,000, Pointsec will provide the US Army's Medical Communications for Combat Casualty Care (MC4) with endpoint security technology for over 11,000 Windows Mobile-based HP Pocket PC hand-held devices.
The devices will be used by Army medical personnel in combat situations.
One US dollar (USD) is worth approximately 0.52 British pounds (GBP).
