Ericsson to provide network upgrade in Malaysia

Swedish telecomms solutions provider Ericsson said on Monday (24 October) that it had been chosen by the Malaysian fixed line operator TIME dotCom as the sole supplier to upgrade its existing network to provide high performance broadband services.
Under the agreement Ericsson would provide a comprehensive portfolio of services, which include supply, delivery, installation, integration, testing and commissioning of Ericsson's IP-DSLAM Ethernet DSL Access (EDA).
With the contract TIME dotCom becomes the first wireline and broadband service provider in Malaysia to deploy EDA.
