The Swedish industrial group Trelleborg AB said on Tuesday (25 October) that its business area Trelleborg Sealing Solutions had agreed to acquire the US company Chase-Walton Elastomers Inc.
Chase-Walton Elastomers designs, develops and manufactures silicone components for the aerospace, medical technology and biotech industries. The company has 110 employees at two production units in Massachusetts and annual sales of approximately SEK100m.
The acquisition price was not disclosed.
One Swedish krona (SEK) is worth approximately 0.07 British pounds (GBP).
