Norwegian wireless and satellite communication equipment and systems supplier Nera ASA said on Friday (7 April) that its subsidiary Nera Networks has won a EUR7.2m network contract in Italy.
The contract covers a complete regional wireless network and security centre for the Italian public administration region Molise.
Nera Networks will deliver a turnkey solution including Nera's new Evolution Series wireless point-to-point radios, WiMAX and WiFi equipment, routers, software and other IT infrastructure.
One euro (EUR) is worth approximately 0.69 British pounds (GBP).
