The Stockholm-listed newspaper group Metro International S.A. said on Tuesday (15 August) that the Danish newspaper metroXpress would launch a free afternoon newspaper in Copenhagen on 21 August 2006.
The paper will have an initial distribution of 100,000 copies daily from Monday to Thursday, and 110,000 copies of a longer weekend edition on Fridays.
It will be distributed at 30 local S-train stations, 17 Metro stations and by a large number of hand distributors around Copenhagen, the company said.
