Danish agrochemical company Auriga Industries A/S issued on Wednesday (16 August) its report for the first six months of the year, posting an operating result (EBIT) of DKK173m, as compared to DKK291m in the first six months of 2005.
The net turnover for the period amounted to DKK2,717m, up from DKK2,636m in the corresponding period last year.
The improvement was due to a 30% growth within the Skamol division, and the effect of new sales companies within the Cheminova business.
One Danish krone (DKK) is worth approximately 0.09 British pounds (GBP).
