Swedish IT group WM-data AB said on Monday (21 August) that the Netherlands-based international group LogicaCMG Plc has made a public offer for all shares in the company.
The cash-and-shares offer values WM-data at approximately SEK11.9bn, representing a premium of approximately 17-25%.
The offer is supported by the board of directors and WM-data's largest shareholders, Investor AB and Thord Wilkne.
WM-data is one of the Nordic region's leading IT groups with 9,000 employees and annual sales in excess of SEK10bn.
One Swedish krona (SEK) is worth approximately 0.07 British pounds (GBP).
