Swedish-Dutch full service digital agency network LBI International AB said on Monday (18 December) that it has acquired Swedish interactive advertising agency Starring.
Starring, based in Stockholm in Sweden, has 32 employees and is expected to achieve revenues of over SEK40m in 2006. Its customers include Allers, Bjorn Borg, Lindex, Svenska Spel, Swedbank, Trygg Hansa and Vasakronan.

The transaction makes LBI International AB market leader in Stockholm for digital marketing and communication solutions.
The purchase price was not disclosed, but according to LBI International it includes both a fixed cash payment as well as an earn-out part.
LBI International, headquartered in Stockholm in Sweden and Amsterdam in the Netherlands, was created in August 2006 through the merger of LB Icon and Framfab. The group has over 1,200 employees in Europe and the US. LBI International is listed on the Nordic Exchange in Stockholm and on Euronext in Amsterdam.
