AB Sardus acquires Peigs Sandwich Bar AB

The Swedish frozen foods and sandwich toppings supplier AB Sardus announced on Friday (10 February) that it had acquired the salads and sandwiches producer Peigs Sandwich Bar AB from the Finnish food and service group Fazer Group.
The acquisition price was not disclosed.
Peigs Sandwich Bar, based in Halmstad, Sweden, has some 200 employees and an annual turnover of approximately SEK140m.
The acquired business will be included in Sardus' Light Meals business area, which after the transaction will have an annual turnover of approximately SEK400m.
One Swedish krona (SEK) is worth approximately 0.07 British pounds (GBP).
