Sweden-based pan-European telecomms company Tele2 AB reported on Friday (17 February) an operating profit (EBIT) of SEK3.5bn on operating revenue of SEK49.9bn for the financial year January-December 2005.
Operating profit (EBIT) for the 12-month period decreased from SEK4.3bn while operating revenue increased from SEK43.0bn, as compared to 2004.
Earnings per share (EPS) in 2005 decreased to SEK5.29 from SEK7.73. The company's board of directors would propose a dividend of SEK1.75 per share for 2005.
One Swedish krona (SEK) is worth approximately 0.07 British pounds (GBP).
