Finnish-Swedish IT company TietoEnator Corporation said on Monday (6 February) that the European Union competition authorities have approved the establishment of TietoEnator and Saab's joint venture company, TietoSaab Systems Oy.
TietoSaab Systems Oy is a joint venture between Saab Group and TietoEnator in the Command and Control business in Finland. It combines TietoEnator's current Defence business and Elesco Oy, owned by Saab.
TietoEnator owns 60% and Saab 40% of the company's share capital and votes.
