Finnish-Swedish telecomms group TeliaSonera AB said on Wednesday (11 January) that it had signed an agreement with the Swedish municipality of Mullsjo for the building of a community-wide broadband network.
At the same time the telephony stations in Mullsjo would be upgraded for ADSL capacity.
The network was expected to be ready by November 2006.
No financial information was provided.
