The Swedish defence and aerospace group Saab AB said on Wednesday (11 January) that it would cut 146 jobs at its operations in Linkoping, Sweden.
In addition to the 146 redundancies the number of personnel will also be reduced through 200 persons leaving the company voluntarily, Saab said.
The job cuts affect the business units Saab Aerosystems, Saab Aerostructures, Saab Aerotech and Saab Support.
On 8 June 2005 Saab gave notice to a total of 350 people, citing a decrease in work as the development and production of the JAS 39 Gripen fighter aircraft enters a new phase.
