The Norwegian real-time search solutions provider Opera Software ASA said on Friday (13 January) that it has signed a licensing agreement with an unnamed global home media company.
Under the agreement Opera Software will receive a fixed payment of EUR670,000 in consideration for engineering work and royalty fees based on the number of units sold.
The customer's products are to be launched during 2006.
The agreement was based on a letter of intent announced originally in December 2005.
One euro (EUR) is worth approximately 0.68 British pounds (GBP).
