AB Sardus issues profit warning

The Swedish sandwich toppings and frozen food supplier AB Sardus issued a profit warning on Monday (16 January), citing weaker than expected Christmas sales and increased competition.
Sardus said that it had adjusted downward its forecast for the pre-tax result for 2005 from the previously announced SEK100m to SEK75m.
Sardus will publish its full-year report on 31 January.
One Swedish krona (SEK) is worth approximately 0.07 British pounds (GBP).
