The Swedish industrial group Trelleborg Group said on Monday (23 January) that its business area Engineered Systems had completed its acquisition of the United Kingdom-based engineering company CRP Group.
Trelleborg acquired the company for SEK950m in cash and the assumption of loan repayment obligations.
CRP Group provides polymer systems and solutions for offshore oil and gas projects, and has production units in the UK and the US. The group has 500 employees and annual sales of just over SEK1bn.
One Swedish krona (SEK) is worth approximately 0.07 British pounds (GBP).
