Finnish telecomms solutions provider Nokia said on Monday (23 January) that its mobile application platform, Nokia Business Center, would support IBM Lotus Notes and Domino servers.
Nokia Business Center enables collaborative business applications for the mobile world, starting with push e-mail, so that employees can free themselves from their desks and access their corporate e-mail virtually any time, anywhere, the company claimed.
Nokia Business Center with Lotus Notes and Domino support is expected to be available for customers during the first quarter of 2006.
The product currently supports mobile e-mail over ten Nokia smart phones and communicators, with support for new models as they are announced.
