The Swedish healthcare and laboratory products and systems provider Getinge AB reported on Wednesday (25 January) an operating profit of SEK1.80bn on net sales of SEK11.9bn for the financial year 2005.
Both operating profit and net sales for the 12-month period increased, respectively from SEK1.74bn and SEK10.9bn, as compared to 2004.
Operating profit in the fourth quarter 2005 amounted to SEK740.2m on net sales of SEK3.89bn.
Earnings per share (EPS) in 2005 increased to SEK5.64, as compared to SEK5.69 in 2004. The company would propose a dividend of SEK2.00 per share for 2005.
One Swedish krona (SEK) is worth approximately 0.07 British pounds (GBP).
