Finnish packaging company Huhtamaki Oyj reported on Friday (21 July) an operating profit of EUR87.0m on net sales of EUR1.17bn for the financial period January-June 2006.
Operating profit for the six-month period increased from the loss of EUR0.7m in the corresponding period in 2005, while net sales increased from EUR1.11bn.
Operating profit for the quarter April-June 2006 amounted to EUR49.8m on net sales of EUR600.9m.
One euro (EUR) is worth approximately 0.69 British pounds (GBP).
