Finnish technology group Teleste Corporation said on Tuesday (14 March) that it had signed a frame agreement with a major cable operator in Western Europe.
The agreement covers upgrading the operator's coaxial access network and is intended to increase both upstream and downstream capacity to further support the rollout of broadband Internet and digital television services.
The total project duration is three years and it is valued at some EUR11.5m.
