TietoEnator acquires Telenor Business Consulting

Finnish-Swedish IT company TietoEnator Corporation said on Thursday (9 March) that it was acquiring Telenor Business Consulting, a business unit of the Norwegian telecomms group Telenor.
With the acquisition TietoEnator aims to strengthen its presence in Norway in the telecommunication area by broadening the customer and skills base.
Telenor Business Consulting reported net sales of EUR7.5m in 2005 and it has 40 employees.
The acquisition price was not disclosed.
One euro (EUR) is worth approximately 0.69 British pounds (GBP).
