OMX AB reports all-time high value of daily trading in April

Finnish-Swedish stock exchange operator OMX AB said on Tuesday (2 May) that the value of daily share trading reached an all-time high on 21 April, amounting to EUR7,957m.
The number of share trades on OMX's exchanges reached an all-time high on 27 April, amounting to 161,969 trades per day.
The value of average daily share trading amounted to EUR5,002m, while the average number of trades per business day amounted to 128,031.
One euro (EUR) is worth approximately 0.69 British pounds (GBP).
