KDDI selects Opera browsers for five new 3G phones

The Norwegian Internet browsers developer Opera Software ASA said on Monday (22 May) that Japanese 3G operator KDDI has selected the Opera Mobile browser for five new 3G phones.
The Opera Mobile browser will be included in the Sanyo W33SA II, Sony-Ericsson W42S, Casio W42CA, Hitachi W42H and Toshiba W44T.
Opera Software will receive royalties in accordance with a licensing agreement signed in August 2004.
