Danish facility services group ISS A/S said on Wednesday (15 November) that its unit ISS Facility Services in Germany has acquired the car maker DaimlerChrysler's facility management subsidiary DEBEOS GmbH.
DEBEOS (DaimlerChrysler Objektmanagement und Service) provides internal facility management services for DaimlerChrysler in Stuttgart. The services include technical maintenance services, catering, internal logistics, security and staffing. The company has 548 employees and reported revenues of DKK586m in 2005.

"This deal is one of the larger acquisitions by the ISS Group this year and a very important one for ISS Germany," said Jorgen Lindegaard, Group CEO of ISS.
"It adds more than 30 percent to the annual revenues of our German business, and through acquiring the knowledge and management competencies of DEBEOS, ISS Germany can take a big step towards becoming a provider of integrated facility services to the German market," Lindegaard added.
The financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
ISS Group, headquartered in Copenhagen in Denmark, is a global facility services provider with over 350,000 employees in 47 countries.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 11.08 Danish kroner (DKK).
