Norwegian data storage solutions manufacturer Tandberg Data ASA said on Monday (20 November) that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of US data storage company Exabyte Corporation.
The purchase price was USD28m.
The combined company is expected to achieve revenues of USD200m in 2006, which makes it one of the world's largest data storage manufacturers.
Tandberg Data, based in Oslo in Norway, is a global supplier and manufacturer of professional tape information storage products. The company has operations in Norway, the US, France, Germany, Singapore and Japan. Tandberg Data is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange under the ticker TAD.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 1.91 US dollars (USD).
