The European Commission said on Thursday (31 August) that it has cleared Swedish defence and aerospace group Saab AB's acquisition of the defence electronics and avionics company Ericsson Microwave Systems AB.
"The Commission concluded that the transaction would not significantly impede effective competition in the European Economic Area (EEA) or any substantial part of it," the Commission said.
