Swedish private equity company Ratos AB said on Wednesday (4 April) that it has agreed to acquire a 60% majority stake in heating and air conditioning systems company Mobile Climate Control AB.
Ratos is acquiring the shares from the company's founder Gunnar Mannerheim for approximately SEK300m.

Mobile Climate Control develops, manufactures and sells complete climate control systems for buses, off-road and speciality vehicles. The company has some 500 employees in Sweden and Canada, and is expected to achieve sales of SEK650m in the current financial year. Some 60% of the company's sales take place in North America.
Ratos, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, invests mainly in unlisted companies. The company's investments amount to some SEK11bn. Ratos is listed on the Nordic Exchange in Stockholm.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 13.71 Swedish kronor (SEK).
