TietoEnator enters into partnership with mobile operator Blyk

Finnish-Swedish IT group TietoEnator Corporation said on Wednesday (4 April) that it has entered into partnership with Blyk, the free pan-European mobile operator for young people.
Under the partnership TietoEnator will provide Blyk with an end-to-end BSS (Business Support Systems) solution, related web portals and infrastructure services.
The services and solutions are provided by TietoEnator MVNE (Mobile Virtual Network Enabler) Service Centre, focusing on development, integration, application management and support services.
No financial terms of the agreement were disclosed.
Blyk is a pan-European free mobile operator for young people, funded by advertising. The company has offices in Helsinki, Finland and London, UK. Blyk is launching first in the UK market in mid-2007, with other markets to follow.
TietoEnator is one of Europe's largest IT groups, with over 15,000 employees in more than 25 countries. The company is listed on the Nordic Exchange in Helsinki and Stockholm.
