Swedish IT products supplier Carl Lamm AB announced on Friday (31 August) that it has won a strategic contract for printers, copiers and software from Lund University in Sweden.
The contract, signed for two years and valued at approximately SEK10m, appoints Carl Lamm exclusive supplier of hardware and software for monitoring and charging for printing services. The solution offered by Carl Lamm provides the university's 40,000 students and 5,500 employees with a web-based system for paying for printing and copying.
Carl Lamm, headquartered in Solna, Sweden, provides document and information handling systems, and is exclusive distributor of several international brands. The company has some 450 employees and reported a turnover of SEK872m in 2006. Carl Lamm is listed on the Nordic Exchange in Stockholm.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 13.84 Swedish kronor (SEK).
