Swedish investment company Investment AB Latour said on Friday (31 August) that it has sold the wood processing division of its portfolio company AB Sigfrid Stenberg to E&F Holding AB.
The divested business has 25 employees and an annual turnover of SEK130m.
The divestment means that Sigfrid Stenberg focuses its operations on the sale of machinery, tools and after-market services.
E&F Holding plans to continue the acquired operations as a separate company.
No financial details were disclosed.
Investment AB Latour, headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden, invests in industrial and trading operations. The company owns substantial holdings in Assa Abloy, Elanders, Fagerhult, Munters, Securitas, Securitas Direct, Securitas Systems, SWECO and OEM International. Investment AB Latour is listed on the Nordic Exchange in Stockholm.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 13.84 Swedish kronor (SEK).
