Swedish store display solutions provider HL Display AB said on Thursday (1 February) that it has agreed to acquire privately-owned Finnish shelf merchandising solutions manufacturer Display Team Oy.
The purchase price has not been disclosed.
Display Team's products, marketed under the brand names Maxime BrandMan and Maxime CatMan, share the same markets as HL Display's product lines, as well as the same production technology.
Display Team recorded net sales of approximately EUR6m in 2006.
HL Display AB, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, supplies in-store communication and merchandising solutions for the retail industry and its suppliers. The company has 1,000 employees and achieved sales of SEK1,448m in 2006. HL Display is listed in the Nordic Exchange in Stockholm.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 1.49 euros (EUR). One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 13.38 Swedish kronor (SEK).
