Danish IT company Danware A/S said on Wednesday (14 February) that it has secured a major contract for its NetOp Remote Control software from Swedish retail chain ICA AB.
The NetOp Remote Control solution will enable direct support from ICA's central helpdesk to ICA's PC and sales terminal users, ensuring a fast recovery after operating disruptions.
The contract was said to cover "a large number" of licences.
No financial details were disclosed, but Danware said that the deal will not affect its expectations for 2007.
Danware, headquartered in Birkerod in Denmark, develops computer remote control, teaching and firewall solutions. The company has 58 employees. Danware is listed on the Nordic Exchange in Copenhagen.
