Norwegian dairy group TINE BA said on Thursday (22 February) that the Swedish baby food producer Semper AB has exercised its option to acquire the remaining 51% of the brand Smafolk.
The option was based on a letter of intent signed in 2005.
No financial details were disclosed.
TINE is a dairy cooperative owned by 17,300 Norwegian milk producers. The group operates 47 dairies and has an annual turnover of NOK14.7bn.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 11.95 Norwegian kroner (NOK).
