CSC signs outsourcing agreement with Trygg-Hansa in Sweden and Denmark

Swedish IT services provider CSC Sweden, part of the US-based global group Computer Sciences Corporation CSC (NYSE: CSC), said on Monday (15 January) that it has received an outsourcing contract from the insurer Trygg-Hansa, part of Danish insurance group Codan.
The agreement covers server operating services, applications development (five years) and maintenance (seven years). As part of the agreement some 90 Trygg-Hansa and Codan employees in Sweden and Denmark will transfer to CSC.
The value of the outsourcing agreement was not disclosed.
Computer Sciences Corporation is a global IT group with 78,000 employees and revenues of USD14.6bn. The company is traded on the New York Stock Exchange.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 1.97 US dollars (USD).
