Swedish private equity investor Ratos AB said on Monday (9 July) that it has agreed to acquire a 66% holding in the Danish company AH Industries.

The purchase price is SEK296m.

AH Industries supplies components and services to customers in the wind power, marine and offshore industries. The company has 180 employees at its plants in Kolding and Horsens in Denmark, and reported pro forma sales of approximately SEK470m in 2006/2007.

Ratos, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, invests mainly in unlisted companies. Its investments total some SEK11bn. Ratos is listed on the Nordic Exchange in Stockholm.

One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 13.54 Swedish kronor (SEK).
