Swedish high-tech company Sectra AB said on Thursday (14 June) that it has received a contract for a total radiology IT solution from the Rijnland Hospital in the Netherlands.
The order includes a fully integrated system for managing radiology information (RIS) and a seven-year service and support agreement for the hospital's existing Sectra PACS (image management system), Sectra said.
The financial value of the contract was not disclosed.
Sectra, headquartered in Linkoping, Sweden, develops and sells medical systems and secure communication systems. The company has operations in 11 countries, and reported sales of SEK673m in the financial year 2006/2007. Sectra is listed on the Nordic Exchange in Stockholm.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 13.75 Swedish kronor (SEK).
