Finnish technology group Aspocomp Group Oyj said on Friday (15 June) that it has decided to close down its production plant in Salo, Finland.
The production will be shut down in mid-July and a part of the equipment will be transferred to Aspocomp's production facilities in China and India.
The closing down of operations in Salo will affect 215 employees.
Aspocomp Group, headquartered in Helsinki, Finland, develops interconnection solutions for the electronics industry. Its production facilities are located in Finland, China and Thailand and the company has about 3,350 employees. Aspocomp Group is listed on the Nordic Exchange in Helsinki.
