Swedish humidity control provider Munters AB said on Wednesday (20 June) has secured a three-year framework contract for turbine dehumidifiers from Siemens Power Generation.
The contract is global in scope and covers dehumidifiers for gas and steam turbines.
"The prognosis is set to delivery of 60-70 units every year, and since the agreement was signed we have already received call-offs for 21 units, which is well over plan," said Dietmar Muller, vice president of sales and marketing at Munters Dehumidification Industrial.
Munters expects the contract to be worth at least SEK10m.
Munters, headquartered in Sollentuna, Sweden, is the world's leading provider of humidity control with services and products for water and fire damage restoration, dehumidification, humidification and air cooling. The company has some 3,600 employees and net sales of SEK2.71bn. Munters is listed on the Nordic Exchange in Stockholm.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 13.97 Swedish kronor (SEK).
